This Privacy Policy explains how ONIX Video Editor ("we", "our", "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about the limited data we use. By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

In short: Your videos and photos are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. We do not collect your name, email, GPS location, contacts, or any personal files. We use a third-party advertising and analytics SDK that may collect limited device identifiers as described below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimal data needed to run ads, understand basic app usage, and process purchases:

• Advertising ID — Used by our ad partner (Facebook Audience Network) to display and measure ads.
• Device & usage information — Such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, and anonymous interaction events (e.g., screen opens) for analytics and crash diagnostics.
• Device region / locale — Read from your device's language & region setting to show subscription prices in your local currency. This is not GPS location.
• Purchase status — Whether you have an active subscription, managed through Google Play Billing. We do not see or store your payment card details.

We do NOT collect or access:

• Your precise or background GPS location
• Your name, email, phone number, or contacts
• The content of your videos, photos, or audio files (these stay on your device)

2. Media & Storage Access

The app requests access to your photos/videos and storage only so you can select clips to edit and save your exported videos to your device. This media is processed entirely on your device using on-device video processing (FFmpeg) and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

3. How We Use Information

• To display and measure third-party advertisements.
• To show subscription prices in your local currency.
• To process and validate in-app subscriptions.
• To understand general, anonymous app usage and improve stability and features.

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services, which have their own privacy policies:

• Meta Audience Network (Facebook Ads) — for serving ads. Privacy Policy

• Google Play Billing — for processing subscriptions. Privacy Policy

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Limited device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID) are shared with the advertising and analytics providers listed above solely to provide ads and analytics functionality.

6. Data Retention

We do not store your personal files. Subscription status and your chosen region preference are stored locally on your device. Anonymous analytics data is retained by the respective providers per their policies.

7. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Your Choices

• You can reset or limit your Advertising ID in your device's Settings → Google → Ads.
• You can remove an active subscription via the Google Play Store.
• You can uninstall the app at any time to stop all data processing.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
